European day-ahead prices held broadly flat in week 2026-W30, with the cross-zone average edging up to 191.9 EUR/MWh from 189.45 the prior week, across 47 zones counted. The headline level continues to be distorted by Ukraine, which sits far above the continental range.
The Nordic north remained the cheapest region. NO4 averaged 11.81 EUR/MWh, down 3.83 week on week, followed by SE1 at 13.64 and FI at 13.83. At the other end, UA averaged 4128.87 with a maximum of 10000, well clear of the field; among western and southern zones, IT-SICI at 184.57 and IT-CNOR at 171.15 were the priciest.
The biggest movers were UA, up 440.59 week on week, and two zones falling sharply: SE4 down 38.66 to 72.93 and LT down 26.13 to 74.32. Negative-price activity totalled 456.5 hours across the counted zones. France led with 55 negative hours at an average of 93.49, ahead of DE-LU at 36 hours and NL at 35.5. The single lowest print came in PL at -28.39.
On our own scoreboard, we scored 46 zones and beat the baseline in 41 of them, with an average improvement of 14.9 percent; strong results included RS, HU and GR, while FR and AL came in behind the baseline. Under our guarantee, the losing zones are free.
